Not A Beast

I was looking at my giant son on the couch, as spite and exhaustion wage war in his head (spite is winning), and I thought, “what an incredible beast he’s going to be.”  Then I corrected myself: maybe a beast, and maybe a giant goober.  If he gets the size from my Dad, goober could be an inheritable trait as well.
