Greed and Hate 2012

The Tax Policy Center released an analysis of Mitt Romney’s tax plan today, concluding that it will cut taxes dramatically for the wealthy–no surprise there–and effectively hit lower-middle class and poor Americans with a tax increase.  This is the richies shamelessly doubling down on greed–no more, no less.  Normally I think that stupid poor people who vote Republican because their god hates gay people deserve the grinding, hopeless poverty they get as a result.  In fact, those people deserve all the hell-on-earth the richies and corporatists can inflict on them, but the rest of us deserve better.  The Romney plan will destroy America as a stable, vibrant society, and at this point, the richies who can’t see past their quarterly tax remittances have to be saved from themselves.  So this is it, America: a vote for Mitt Romney or any other Republican is a vote for greed and hate.  They can’t come any closer to admitting that than they have; all that’s left is to change the campaign tagline, and now I’ve done that for them.  Greed & Hate ’12.  I’ll be the first to say that the Democrats aren’t giving voters anything tangible to vote for, but the Republican Party is so morally bankrupt that Americans can and should vote–with total conviction–against them.

  1. I agree. And I’m expecting my mom to comment on this one – it’s her kind of post.

  2. I’ve been remiss in not responding. I’m catching up on all the blogs following my extensive travel. I couldn’t agree more with this post. The Republicans are greedy devils and need to go away. The Democrats need to SAY something, at a minimum, and not act like they’re running scared everytime the Republicans come out with something. I don’t know if I’ll survive until November.
