Reagan And Stalin

I’ve always thought it was neat that my Dad is Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.

On the other hand, learning that Natalie Portman is turning into my mother was deeply disturbing.

This can’t end well, Padme.

Today I was brushing up on my Stalin–with whom my son already shares a birthday–and I stumbled upon a picture of the Gardener of Human Happiness with his two children by his second wife, Vasili and ‘Svetlana.’

Is that cool (Prince Albert) or uncool (Queen Amidala)?  Reagan says she’s okay with it, and I reckon I ought to be if she is.

    • I showed it to Jenny and she asked me if I could use my computer to put her face in an old picture like that. I tried to convince her that it’s really not Reagan with the Brilliant Genius of Humanity, but she’s not buying it.
