Formula For Victory

There’s not one.  There’s formula for spitting, formula for dribbling, formula for swallowing wrong, formula for puking, and formula for general contorting and writhing and screaming.  Nothing for victory and nothing for a stupid baby that refuses to eat.  I tried formula straight, then formula after gas drops, and finally formula after Baby Tylenol.  All rejected with extreme prejudice.  Something has to give, and I was already tooting my own horn about how invincible I am (today only), so I’m going to look like a clown and a chump if I’m the one who breaks.  I enjoyed my headache-free baby time, but now I must bid it adieu, because Brinkley knows to take away my strengths first.  We’ll be weakness-on-weakness for the rest of the day, just how he likes it.

  1. Sorry he’s being horrible – I think you were somewhat expecting it after he’s been off schedule for a few days. I’m sure the girls will be helpful after school, right? Or they’ll complain about everything that’s wrong with them and not be helpful.

    • He absolutely will not eat. I got 2 oz. into him right after he woke up from the last nap and before he realized what I was doing. And the girls are going to want to stay away from me entirely.
