Surprise Brain Attack

Filed under: Operation Mortal Coil,Withdrawal War — lbej @ 09:34

Also I went off Lexapro last Thursday and that apparently causes quite a bit of nastiness.  I was put on it when I was in the hospital for detox last year but I am not interested in that sort of thing for an indefinite period, so my doctor agreed that I could quit.  I tapered it over a week but it would seem that’s a fairly short period, and the Empress has reported that extreme fatigue, crying and dizziness are typical symptoms.  I hate being typical, but I try not to disregard the obvious, especially given that I have a history of doing precisely that in regards to my brain chemistry.  If the sages of the Internet are correct I’ll have a few weeks of this and then I can go back to my native insanity free of both alcohol and this devil-medicine.  At least it’s not a tumor, which is my default explanation for everything including nasal congestion and dry skin.  On to the dining room.

  1. I also like to assume that most physical problems I have are the result of a tumor. In my brain specifically.
I’m glad you’re getting off the medicine, and I hope you start to feel better soon, brother.
