War On Dolls

I would say there were two dozen dolls I gathered up in the yard just now.  Less than half were clothed and more than one was missing its head.  The first conclusion I have drawn is that I am now at war with yard dolls.  To that end, any doll that is taken out into the yard and left there overnight–to be turned by the spiders, one assumes–will be destroyed the following morning.  Actually, the doll will be photographed and the photograph enlarged to poster-size so that I can nail it to Reagan’s door and paint a giant X on it in my own blood.  Then it will be destroyed.  The second conclusion I have drawn is that I need to ask Reagan how the dolls keep talking to each other after they no longer have heads.
