The Cat Room Must Be Cleared

I have been studying Maréchal Foch’s precepts and it seems I have been overthinking my project for rehabilitating the Desolation of the Cats.  Foch says this of war: “the truth is, no study is possible on the battle-field; one does there simply what one can in order to apply what one knows.”  I know the cats already, and I am done with strategizing.  I know their terrible ways, and I know what will shift the balance.  I will get in there amongst the blech and I will do what I can.  I will turn them inside-out.

  1. I think your blog is brilliant. Charlotte shared the link upon my request, which I hope is okay because I’ve now read the entire thing and can’t take it back.

But for rehabilitating the Desolation of the Cats, I recommend this product: My cat Lola hates the couch. I like the couch but hate cat pee. I soaked the pee cushions in this product and let them air dry, and no more eau de urine. Of course Lola held her pee for days just in case someone might accidentally leave the door open, which happened, and she again let that couch have it. I am currently repeating the process. Still not sure of the appropriate offensive to stop the pee before it happens.

    Best of luck.
